Primary service
Temporary COW and COLT site installation
Temporary wireless sites are not limited to microwave. CMI deploys Cells on Wheels (COW) and Cells on Light Trucks (COLT) for planned events and emergency coverage, with microwave backhaul when the path needs it.
In the field
COW and COLT deployments
Our own job photos—telescoping masts, radomes, event towers, radios, and temporary power.
Special events
Time-critical temporary sites for large public events. Named event work includes:
- Super Bowl
- Waste Management Phoenix Open
- Country Thunder
- Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
- Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
- Other large events that need extra capacity on a fixed schedule
Emergency and wildfire support
CMI has deployed emergency temporary sites to add coverage and support during forest fires and other incidents when networks are overloaded or infrastructure is down. This is temporary site and backhaul work—not firefighting.
What crews install
- COW and COLT set, integration, and teardown
- Power and site support for the temporary compound
- Microwave or other backhaul when the event or incident requires a path
- Coordination with carrier or public-safety partners on timing
Nomad crews travel from the Phoenix base. Primary work areas are Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and California.
